An Academic Curriculum That Gets Children Kindergarten-Ready

Since 2011, 97.8% of A to Z children have entered kindergarten ready. Every classroom, starting in the infant room, follows a structured daily plan aligned with Kentucky early-learning standards: language and early reading, numbers and math, writing, and the classroom habits kindergarten teachers expect. Hands-on activities are how we teach those skills. School readiness is the goal.

Learning Centers Encourage Active Discovery

Every classroom (including the infants’ room) features developmentally appropriate stations dedicated to areas of learning that invite children to explore and build skills. As they engage in dramatic play, science, math, blocks, and more, your child develops a love of discovery that sticks.

Creative Enrichments Invite Self-Expression

Art, music, and creative activities unlock your child’s imagination and personality. As they draw, paint, color, dance, sing, and play, they grow in confidence, express their feelings, and learn about who they are.

Trusted Techniques For Social-Emotional Development

Our nurturing teachers use the Love and Logic approach to support social-emotional growth. Children learn responsibility, self-control, empathy, and natural consequences in order to build strong, healthy relationships and navigate the world with confidence.

Exciting Visits Bring Learning To Life

We partner with our neighborhood library to introduce children to a love of reading, often inviting librarians to visit for interactive story sessions. We regularly welcome community helpers like firefighters, police officers, nurses, and local business owners to share and teach about safety, kindness, and teamwork.
